**Receptionist, Wonthaggi Hospital**

Wonthaggi Hospital services the Bass Coast and South Gippsland shire communities and offers a range of services, including Pathology, Acute Ward, Radiology, Theatre and Maternity. The Imaging Associates team is excited by the opportunity to provide radiology services to the community in this region and seek to engage a highly qualified and dedicated radiography team providing a range of high-quality imaging services.

As the Receptionist for our Radiology department, you will act as the first point of contact for all patients. We need you to provide top-notch service and care to everyone who walks through our doors: compassion and empathy are key and you will work collaboratively with our clinical team to ensure that our radiology service offering is provided in a professional and respectful way.

Key responsibilities include:

- Welcome patients and provide them with information about their appointment
- Liaising with hospital staff to facilitate in patient imaging
- Manage calls and patient bookings
- Respond to enquiries from patients and referrers
- Manage patient invoicing and receipting

**What experience do I have?**

To be successful, you will need to have:

- Exceptional customer service skills and communication skills
- Experience working autonomously and part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
- Confidence with technology and the ability to learn new systems
- Availability to work across a roster (8-hour shifts) that covers the operational hours of 8am to 6pm (Mon-Fri)
