The Information Management and Technology Division guides the Departments' digital capability and is leading digital transformation for the Department including Victorian government schools. The Division architects, manages and supports the largest technology network in Victoria, supporting a user base of approximately 750,000 staff and students.
IMTD provides innovation and leadership in the transformation and management of the Department's digital capability through the implementation of solutions on the department's cloud environment (IaaS), enterprise cloud platforms (PaaS) and software (SaaS), using agile practices with a focus on user experience, security, and integration.

About the opportunity
This is a fantastic ongoing opportunity is available for an Product Analyst to join a small team within the IT Services Branch within the Information and Management Technology Division reportig to the Manager, Security Operations.
This role works closely across multi-disciplinary ICT functions and collaborates with the external agencies including the Victorian Government Cyber Incident Response Service (CIRS). You will be responsible to provides security maintenance and incident response capability in a fast, high-volume service. Using enterprise security products, this role will actively utilise security platforms to provide insights and ongoing security response to maintain the department's security posture.
About you
- Organise and logically follow processes and keep order and management of multiple reports, stakeholders, and timelines.
- Organise, catalogue and query data to provide analytical reporting and insights to support performance improvements and greater adoption.
- Develops and edits written communications to ensure they contain the information necessary to achieve their purpose for the intended audience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to adapt style to meet the needs of the audience, understand the needs of all parties, clarify desired outcomes, facilitate discussions towards agreement, able to influence and achieve win-win results where practical.
