**Job description**

Our centre in Everton Hills is seeking a Diploma qualified educator, to join our passionate team.

**The role**

Your passion and enthusiasm will see you assisting to lead a classroom by effectively engaging with educators, families, children and the wider community to implement the educational program and experiences to meet the individual needs of the children
- You will have a strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
- You will work at all times in compliance with Government Regulations and centre policies and procedures to meet high quality standards
- You will network with relevant stakeholders in the local community
- You will have confidence in building strong relationships and partnerships with children and families
- You will have the ability to contribute to the documentation of the children's skills and interests that include a clear cycle of reflective practice
- **You must be available to work 5 days between 6:30am-6:30pm.**

**Selection Criteria**

You must hold:

- Certificate III, Diploma or higher qualification in children services as approved by ACECQA
- Current approved First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates
- Current Working with Children Card
- Minimum 12 months experience in an early childhood setting
- Knowledge of the EYLF and NQS

**For Lead Educators/Diploma Qualified**:

- Prior experience and confidence with leading a classroom setting and writing educational programs
- Strong leadership skills and an ability to confidently guide and mentor your peers
- Confidence in building strong relationships and partnerships with children and families
- Ability to Implement stimulating programs, and develop a curriculum based on the children's interests and the EYLF
- Ability to observe and record children's learning and contribute to their educational portfolios
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 37.5 per week

**Salary**: $29.00 - $34.00 per hour
