The Job
Feature development:
You'll build out features on the app, collaborating closely with your squad to deliver seamless user experiences.
Code review:
You'll conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
Mentorship:
You'll mentor junior engineers, providing guidance, feedback, and sharing best practices to help them grow professionally.
Collaboration:
You'll work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define product and technical roadmaps.
Optimisation:
You'll optimise application performance, reducing latency and ensuring a seamless user experience.
Testing:
You'll write and maintain unit and end-to-end tests to ensure app reliability and robustness.
Continuous learning:
You'll stay up-to-date with the latest iOS development trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our app remains cutting-edge.
What we're looking for:
Experience working on multiple iOS codebases with millions of regular users.
Experience in technical leadership roles, task breakdown, and mentoring junior engineers.
Familiarity with component-based UI development such as SwiftUI.
Strong understanding of iOS app architectures.
Experience with GraphQL.
Experience with widgets and watch apps is ideal.
Experience using CoreData or similar local data storage.
4+ years experience as a professional software engineer, minimum 2 years Swift experience.
