**Why Your Role Matters**
A Research Associate (Level A) is located within the UNSW School of Business. This role arises from a research project funded under the Australian Research Council Linkage Project - Australian Research Council Linkage Program. Under the direction of the project's UNSW lead, the Research Associate will be involved conducting the technical tasks of the project.

**Who You Are (skills and experience)**:

- A PhD in Data Analytics, Optimisation or similar discipline in addition to demonstrated strong performance in research, in the area of supply chain management, supply chain analytics etc.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake high quality academic research and conduct independent research
- Liaise with the industry partner of the project.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team, collaborate across disciplines and build effective relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills appropriate for interacting effectively with team members, collaborators and colleagues across the Faculty.
- A demonstrated ability to complete tasks within agreed time frames, with suitable supervision.
