Job Overview
A seasoned engineer with expertise in CI/CD and containerization is sought to drive technological advancements in our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain efficient pipelines for .Net migration projects, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
Migrate existing systems to Linux containers as part of modernization initiatives, optimizing performance and scalability.
Collaborate with development and operations teams for effective deployment and troubleshooting.
Implement best practices for CI/CD and containerization, driving innovation and efficiency.
Requirements
Proven experience in DevOps roles with expertise in CI/CD and containerization, including .Net technologies and Linux containers.
Strong knowledge of automation frameworks and CI/CD tools, with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work effectively in distributed team environments, driving collaboration and results.
Experience with configuration management, scripting, and debugging, with a focus on quality and reliability.
Essential Skills
Jenkins
: Configure new instances, troubleshoot issues, create jobs, and understand plugins.
PowerShell
: Write scripts, functions, modules, handle errors, debug, and schedule tasks.
Docker
: Understand Docker architecture, write and optimize Docker files, manage images, use environment variables, and store secrets inside containers.
Git
: Manage repo structure, apply branching strategies, use Git hooks, merge branches, and debug Git issues.
Azure Cloud
: Automate PowerShell scripts, provision infrastructure resources like Vnets, subnets, load balancers, Azure monitoring and logging.
Terraform
: Apply Terraform fundamentals, modules, variables, outputs, and secret management.
Linux
: Use Red Hat shell commands, perform common system administration tasks, and containerize applications using Docker on Linux.
Nice to Have
Harness CI and CD
: Experience with continuous integration and deployment using Harness, streamlining workflows and improving efficiency.
This mid-senior level contract position requires strong expertise in CI/CD and containerization, with a focus on driving technological advancements and innovation in the organization.
