We are seeking a forward thinking, creative change-maker to join our team in this senior leadership position.
**About the role**:
As the General Manager Employment Government Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in establishing opportunities for partnership with government departments and agencies on inclusive employment initiatives for people with a disability and barriers to employment. In line with Endeavour Foundation's mission, purpose, values and organisational strategy, this role is responsible for ensuring sustainable and meaningful employment pathways and partnerships are established with local, state and federal government departments. You will oversee a talented team and your leadership will be essential in cementing Endeavour's position as the leading enabler of employment in the sector.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Identify partnership opportunities in the government sector where Endeavour can assist government departments and agencies in the achievement of their disability employment goals.
- Design and deliver programs that support strategic outcomes for government customers and that provide opportunity for people with disability to work in roles aligned to their employment goals.
- Work with government and the private sector to identify and enable opportunities for social procurement.
- Lead a highly engaged team in the delivery of current government partnerships, including the Defence Assistance Program and the operations of multiple Resource Recovery Centres.
- Ensure excellent supports are provided to all people supported in employment, including playing an active leadership role in person centred practice and safeguarding.
- Develop and promote innovative strategies for quality assurance, operational risk management, and continuous improvement, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Lead and coordinate business activities to improve operational performance and outcomes determining risks and enhancing financial sustainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust processes and systems that support our commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred services and ensuring alignment of employment initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to continuously improve outcomes.
- Full P&L accountability for operational performance delivery
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to inclusive employment and consulting services.
***About you**:
- Extensive experience in the disability sector or government sector, with a focus on disability services highly preferred with an understanding of industry regulations, quality standards and best practices.
- Strong demonstrated financial capability to advise on commercial operations to an assigned budget, whilst still meeting the business needs with a strong understanding of contract law and pricing.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Proven leadership abilities, particularly in change management and interpersonal communication.
- Advanced analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or Quality Assurance preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in a multi-site leadership operational role with a focus on profitability, commercial outcomes including quality management, safety leadership, and customer service excellence.
