Gouge has several exciting career opportunities:About the Role.The Mechanical Fitter will be part of our diverse team of trade professionals within Maintenance; they will be responsible for fast acting and quality service in relation to closing out maintenance requests from various departments across our local sites.
They will be responsible for diagnosing issues and conducting regular machine maintenance.We are looking for someone Fresh, Innovative, Reliable, Accountable and Flexible...Qualifications & experienceTrade qualification - mechanical fitting or fitter turner or similar MUST.Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.Proven experience with Steam and Air systems is preferred.Experience in prioritising jobs and multitasking.Experience in any of the following would be advantageous, welding, construction, manufacturing, boom lift, plant operations, elevated work platform.Strong understanding of OHS.Tasks & responsibilitiesWorking on new equipment installations and upgrades.Attending to breakdown call outs and Preventative Maintenance.Responsible for fostering a strong relationship with the production manager and the systems officer to ensure.
