Programmed, in partnership with Goodman Fielder, is offering an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals to start their journey as an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter based in Clayton.

No prior industry experience? No problem This is an entry-level role perfect for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys hands-on work, and is committed to building a long-term trade career. As an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter, you will :

  1. Work alongside experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience in mechanical fitting.
  2. Participate in a structured training program that combines on-the-job learning with formal education.
  3. Develop skills in maintaining, repairing, and installing mechanical equipment.
  4. Contribute to the smooth operation of Goodman Fielder's facilities, ensuring high standards of safety and efficiency.

About You :

  1. Passionate about mechanical fitting and eager to learn.
  2. A Certificate II Pre-Apprenticeship would be highly regarded.
  3. Reliable, hardworking, and committed to excellence.
  4. Able to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
  5. Ready to take on new challenges and grow with the company.
  6. Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
  7. Committed to attending and completing TAFE blocks as part of the apprenticeship.

Whilst the Apprenticeship is based in Clayton, you may be required to work anywhere in the region to gain the full trade experience during your apprenticeship.
