**Are you passionate about Textiles, Soft Furnishings and Interiors?**

This is a contract on-site role for a Front Staff / Retail Assistant at Material World in Chatswood, NSW. A position with us gives you a chance to utilise your exceptional sales skills as well as fulfil your passion for working with têxtiles and soft furnishings. This is an opportunity to work in an inspirational and creative environment.

In order to be successful in this position we require the following:

- Strong retail experience
- Knowledge of curtains & blinds, têxtiles & colour.
- Energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to work Saturdays
- Must have the right to live and work in Australia

Preferred Experience:

- Minimum 2 years retail experience
- Window Furnishing Knowledge
- Computer skills essential
- Knowledge of POS software highly desirable
- Ability to work to KPI's essential
- Background in interiors or the design Industry highly desirable

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $23.96 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 32 per week

**Experience**:

- Point of Sale (POS) software: 2 years (preferred)
- Working towards retail sales targets and KPIs: 2 years (preferred)
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
