**Description**:
Based out of our West Australian main office in Wangara, the role will involve actively partnering with the Western Region leadership team as a Commercial Business Partner providing the delivery of innovative, proactive and insightful support and analysis to the business.

**Reporting into the Group Commercial Manager, you will**:

- Provide decision support in the form of insightful analysis, ad hoc financial modelling, impact analysis, asset performance analysis
- Build financial and commercial acumen within the region
- Understand financial and operational performance, both past and future projection through profitability analysis and reporting
- Provide operational support on leases, transport supply agreements and as needed
- Lead strategic analysis to identify opportunities to maximise profit through sales growth (price and volume) and cost optimization
- Prepare contract/tender P&L and analyse for profitability and other commercial matters
- Prepare internal tender and contract sign off documents and manage the Sime Darby sign off process
- Manage non-standard and specific contract provisions and operational rollout of these provisions (including confirmation, periodic follow-up and financial performance review)
- Review contract risk management and risk mitigation plans
- Scenario planning and impact analysis - assess impact on financial performance targets for branch/area/region

**Skills and Experiences**:
Skills and experience
- Very strong commercial awareness and understanding and have a minimum of 5 years' experience
- Demonstrated and detailed commercial business partnering and financial modelling experience and systems skills
- CA or CPA qualified
- Degree in Business or Commerce (Postgraduate studies highly regarded)
