This is a full-time opportunity to help launch the concept from the very beginning.What you'll be doingPreparing and presenting vibrant, authentic Mexican dishes with consistency and flairSupporting the smooth running of your section while maintaining high food quality and standardsMonitoring food quality, minimising wastage and ensuring compliance with HACCP and food safety standardsAssisting with training and mentoring of upcoming chefs to build a strong, talented teamContributing to a positive and motivated culture through clear communication and collaborationPromoting safe work practices and maintaining efficiency across the kitchenKeeping up to date with current food trendsIndependently managing the food offering with initiative and minimal supervision to ensure smooth operationsWhat we're looking forExperience working in Mexican cuisine is essentialQualification with a minimum Cert IV in Commercial CookeryFood Safety Hygiene qualificationFamiliarity with the Food Safety Act and WHS legislationStrong time management skillsSelf-starter who can work independently and remain confident under pressureBenefitsCompetitive salaryMeal/Coffee card allowanceFree gym membershipFree parkingFood & beverage discountsNote: this position does not offer sponsorship at this time.APPLY NOW
