We back all sorts of businesses - from the well-established success stories, to the up-and-comers with big plans behind them. But no matter how big those businesses are, or what their plans may be, they have one thing in common. A dedicated Business Banker right there with them to help them succeed.

An exciting opportunity exists for an ambitious and motivated Business Banker to join the Business Connect Banking team. This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your relationship management skills whilst working within a supportive, focused and successful team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a Business Banking Portfolio of clients and will work closely with our branch network to secure and service of small business customers. You will also work closely with our contact centre customer connect team and establish yourself as a trusted partner for their small business referrals. This role is a unique opportunity to shape and better the way we interact with the Micro SME sector.

**What do I need?**

We are looking for lending experience ideally in business banking. You'll have a strong understanding of retail/commercial banking products, services and procedures, as well as experience in credit procedures and policies. A natural people-person, you'll boast an impressive track record in business development, including the acquisition of new to bank customers and a proven history in meeting and exceeding sales targets/KPIs is highly regarded.
