Our distribution site at Largs North is seeking an enthusiastic Site Leader. You will be experienced in the use of Telehandler operation for loading bulk trucks and bulk warehousing of material. Forklift and Mixer operation would also be well regarded for this position.This is a hands-on machine operator role with responsibility for the associated paperwork and load management.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and eager to learn and grow. You must be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised. A strong focus on workplace health and safety is essential. Working in a bulk materials warehouse environment, you would be technically minded and be able to accurately complete the required paperwork. You would also ideally have mechanical and maintenance experience.
The candidate will be responsible for:
Conduct and document all pre-operations start up procedures and standard operating procedures correctly and promptly.
Prepare and produce orders correctly and in a timely manner to meet customer delivery times.
Maintain accurate daily records. Record times and tonnes produced, downtime, waste, rework, and equipment issues.
Maintaining a clean working environment.
Following of correct Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental directions
Equipment Care and Responsibility
Achievement of prescribed operating instructions, production, and any set tasks
Liaise with transport companies and our other Sites for all transport issues.
