**Job Description**:
Nine Digital is seeking a celebrity writer to work as a Digital Producer on the 9Honey team.

The position is primarily within our celebrity team, but you will on occasion write more broadly across the wider 9Honey verticals.

You will be writing breaking celebrity stories and features, interviewing entertainment personalities, generating original story ideas, researching, writing and curating content for the 9Honey website. Additionally, you will be required to source images, video and other attributes needed for on site and in social media.

You will be working closely on our social assets, across Tiktok, Instagram and Facebook, creating content that works for those audiences.

Please note shift work and weekend work may be required.

**Your primary duties will be to**:

- Pitch and be across breaking celebrity and lifestyle news
- Generate original ideas for celebrity and lifestyle features and galleries
- Assist in the promotion of your stories, including via homepage headlines, social media and newsletters
- Source video and images for stories, using Photoshop to assist in image editing
- Attend junkets both virtually and in person interviewing entertainment personalities from across the world.
- Interview local and international talent relevant to our audience

**Qualifications**:

- Demonstrated experience writing for digital audiences
- Ability to calmly write fast, accurate copy and meet rolling daily deadlines
- Firsthand experience with daily publishing in a CMS
- Photoshop experience
- Strong grammar, research, and copy-editing skills
- Intermediate SEO knowledge
- Excellent communication skills. Must be a team player with a can-do attitude who thrives in a fast-paced news environment
- Experience writing entertainment news
- Relationships with industry media teams and celebrity publicists
