Overview
Field Service Engineer (X-Ray/ Medical Imaging)role atAgfa Radiology Solutions.
Based in Melbourne, VIC, you will join the Australian Service Team to provide hands-on service support and project work, including installation, diagnosis and repair, servicing and scheduled preventive maintenance of Agfa's Medical Imaging products (X-Ray/Direct Radiology equipment, Mobile X-Ray Systems, Fluoroscopy X-Ray, DR Retrofit, Computed Radiography devices and Medical DICOM printers) to ensure customer satisfaction and healthcare revenue.
Reporting to the Team Leader and Service Manager, you will be responsible for delivering customer-focused service to the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities
Conduct installations of X-ray systems and other Agfa devices in accordance with customer requirements and Agfa Radiology specifications, from site inspections through project implementation to final sign-off and acceptance.
Analytically diagnose and repair Agfa Radiology equipment and apply relevant updates/patches to affected products and solutions.
Perform remote diagnostic procedures on customer sites.
Carry out preventative maintenance as scheduled in accordance with Agfa Radiology and OH&S policies.
Travel within Melbourne, Victoria and interstate as directed to carry out duties.
Take ownership of service situations from inception to resolution, initiate escalation when required, ensure satisfactory resolution, and communicate the process to customers.
Document service calls, expenses and time daily and submit to the Service Desk weekly.
Provide after-hours support and participate in the 24/7 roster when required.
Maintain security policies in the control of Agfa Radiology software and technical knowledge.
Qualifications
Hold, or be eligible for, any required electrical and/or radiation licenses.
Hold a tertiary qualification in Electrical, Engineering or similar technical field.
Proven experience in electro-mechanical service and repair, preferably with Medical Imaging products (X-Ray/DR equipment, Mobile X-ray systems, Fluoroscopy X-ray, DR Retrofit, Computed Radiography, or Medical DICOM printers).
Basic IT knowledge (Windows OS, PC repairs, installations, networks, databases, storage).
Familiarity with Medical Imaging standards (DICOM, HL7).
Self-motivated, able to learn quickly and stay updated on emerging technologies.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Hold a valid driver's license.
To comply with customer and/or state health policies, you may need to be vaccinated against preventable diseases.
Mustbe eligible to legally live and work in Australia.
Location and Employment
Based in Melbourne, VIC, with travel across Victoria and interstate as required.
Full-time position.
