Chief Radiographer

With a strong reputation for professionalism, integrity, and innovation, we are seeking a highly-skilled and experienced Chief Radiographer to lead our medical imaging team. As the Chief Radiographer, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our state-of-the-art imaging facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. This is a full-time position based in our modern clinic located in the heart of St Leonards.

Supervising and directing a team of radiographers, technicians and support staff to ensure efficient and seamless operations

Overseeing the scheduling and coordination of imaging appointments and procedures

Ensuring adherence to all relevant policies, protocols and safety standards

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports

Providing expert guidance and support to referring clinicians on imaging modalities and procedures

Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and operational efficiency

Representing the department and acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders

Minimum of 5 years\' experience as a registered and practicing radiographer, with demonstrated leadership and management experience

Thorough understanding of medical imaging modalities, procedures and best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with patients, clinicians and multidisciplinary teams

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and ensure timely service delivery

Commitment to upholding high standards of patient care and safety

Proficient in the use of imaging software and technology

Relevant tertiary qualifications in radiography or a related field
