About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to provide authoritative, modern, specialist advice in all areas of asset accounting and asset governance and responds to new public sector financial management initiatives as they relate to non-current assets.
About you
- Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Health's core values, as outlined below.
- Cultivate working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at a high standard.
- Ensure compliance with the Financial Accountability Act 2009, Queensland Treasury's Non-Current Asset Policies for the Queensland Public Sector, Metro North's Financial Management Practice Manual, and other applicable legislation.
- Coordinate processes and provide governance to ensure integrity of Metro North's asset register.
- Assist in the standardisation of asset accounting and governance processes across the health service, including development of appropriate training packs and communication plans.
