Roy Morgan, a leading name in Australian research and insights, is seeking a qualified and experienced Carpenter to join our team in the heart of Melbourne.
As part of our property and infrastructure division, you will be responsible for a range of skilled carpentry tasks, contributing to the maintenance, refurbishment, and upgrade of our facilities.Key Responsibilities:Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work plans to guide construction or repair work.Accurately measure, cut, and shape wood and other construction materials using both hand and power tools.Assemble, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as doors, frames, partitions, furniture, and cabinetry.Construct frameworks for buildings and install flooring, walls, ceilings, and roofing materials where necessary.Conduct site inspections to assess work progress, identify issues, and ensure work is compliant with safety and quality standards.Collaborate with other trades and contractors to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion.Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and adhere to WHS guidelines at all times.Qualifications & Experience Required:A minimum Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent AQF level qualification).
Certificate 4 in building and construction is desirable.At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar carpentry role.Strong practical skills, attention to detail, and a sound understanding of Australian construction standards.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Must have own tools and carThis is a fantastic opportunity to apply your trade skills in a reputable and stable organisation.
