You;ll play a pivotal part in providing top-tier patient care and supporting a variety of diagnostic and interventional services.LocationPrimarily based at Modbury Hospital, with some travel to Salisbury, North Adelaide, and North Eastern Community locations.ResponsibilitiesAssisting Radiologists with procedures like deep organ biopsies, lumbar punctures, PICC insertions, drainages, and pain management injections.Offering expert care and guidance for patients before, during, and after procedures, including medication management.Working alongside medical imaging staff to streamline workflow and elevate the patient experience.Engaging with hospital departments and allied health professionals.Managing IV cannulation, PICC/Port device access, and more.Coordinating complex patient bookings and liaising with referrers for interventional procedures.What We're Looking ForExperience in nursing, ideally in an acute or theatre/recovery setting.Strong interpersonal skills, with a knack for managing time effectively and working within a team.A willingness to adapt to the dynamic needs of a fast-paced environment.Cannulation skills are highly regarded, as is prior radiology experience, though full training will be provided to the right candidate.Exceptional communication skills – you;ll need to work closely with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.We pride ourselves on being an equal opportunity employer, committed to supporting an inclusive and diverse workplace.
