Standing proud on bustling Bourke Street, the converted 12-storey building effortlessly melds a historical art deco façade with mid-century style interiors designed to reflect the brands unique European heritage.

Just a stone's throw from Parliament Square, the hotel will offer 235 chic guestrooms, ground floor café and bar, all-day dining restaurant, 210sqm of function space and the showpiece Level 5 pool deck featuring an outdoor heated swimming pool overlooking the city skyline.

Le Méridien Melbourne is looking for a **Restaurant Supervisor **to join the team on a **Part-Time** basis.

- Personable communication skills.
- Previous restaurant experience is a must.

**About the Role**
- Ensure staff is working together as a team to ensure optimum service and that guest needs are met.
- Inspect grooming and attire of staff and rectify any deficiencies.
- Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
- Inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness.
- Complete scheduled inventories and stock and requisition necessary supplies.
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well being of guests.
- Complete work orders for maintenance repairs.
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.
