The purpose of the Clinical Trials Warehouse Operator - Receipt is to undertake and oversee the day-to-day receipt, warehousing of investigational products across both the Moorabbin & Port Melbourne site.
Roles & Responsibility:
- Perform day to day receiving and warehousing activities, including data entry and documentation control of all incoming products in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures.
- To perform reconciliation and destruction operations including all supporting paperwork as per company procedures.
- To maintain/improve the appearance and cleanliness of both warehouses.
- To complete all duties under warehouse ownership, such being cleanliness, control of pack conditioning, generator tests, consumable orders etc.
- To read and record temperature monitors on receipt and communicate to relevant parties.
- Client/Sponsor notification of received shipments.
- Liaise with Quality Assurance to ensure products and documentation is controlled and released as required to meet internal and external customers' requirements.
- Aid the warehouse operating team and Quality Assurance in the safe and efficient management of all PCI products.
- To comply with the Company's Health and Safety standards.
- From time to time, the above listed duties may be undertaken at PCI Stamullen. In such cases the person will be responsible for ensuring they are properly trained in the local procedures and that their training record is maintained and up to date.
- The scope of the activities undertaken at PCI Stamullen is limited to projects managed or distributed from the PCI Bridgend facility.
- Any other tasks as assigned by the manager.
Your skills & experience:
- 2 years of previous experience in warehousing and distribution. Pharmaceuticals preferred.
- Previous experience in Warehouse Receiving.
- Able to cope with the physical demands of the job.
- Excellent Organisational skills.
- Safety driven.
- Familiar with GMP requirements for warehousing and distribution.
- Hold a current driver's licence.
- Good verbal and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- IT literate with good knowldege of ERP, excel, word and internet funtionality
