**About the Role**
A Delish Affair is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering/Food Services Attendant to join our patient catering team at a Private Hospital in Kingswood. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment, committed to delivering exceptional, patient-focused food services.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Food Service**: Serve food to patients, staff, and visitors in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring portion control and presentation standards are met.
- **Dietary Management**: Work closely with dietitians and chefs to accommodate special dietary needs, allergies, and food preferences, ensuring that these requirements are accurately communicated and adhered to.
- **Hygiene and Cleanliness**: Maintain high standards of cleanliness in food preparation and service areas, including washing dishes, cleaning kitchen equipment, and sanitizing surfaces.
- **Customer Service**: Interact with patients, staff, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any questions or concerns about the food service.
- **Assisting with Meal Delivery**: Help in the delivery of meals to patients' rooms, ensuring accuracy and adherence to hospital protocols.
- **Supporting Kitchen Staff**: Provide general support to chefs and kitchen staff, including taking on additional tasks as needed during busy periods.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of food temperatures, delivery times, and any dietary adjustments, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

**Skills and Experience**
- Previous experience in food service, particularly within healthcare or aged care settings, will be highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of food hygiene practices and cleanliness standards.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service with a keen attention to detail.
- High level of reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.
- Excellent personal presentation and hygiene standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility in shift availability, including weekends and public holidays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Catering Services: 1 year (required)

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
