For over 60 years our client, Newcastle Meals on Wheels, has been a pillar of support in our local community, providing nourishing meals and holistic wellbeing programs. With a network of 10 branches, they have positively impacted the lives of countless individuals. They are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Storeperson to join the team and contribute to their mission of enhancing lives through nutritious meals.

As Storeperson - Catering, you will contribute to the smooth operations of the distribution centres. Your role will be dynamic, requiring versatility, attention to detail, and a positive can-do attitude. You will primarily be working at the Tighes Hill and/or Wallsend Distribution Centres, while also engaging in deliveries to various branches.

Key Responsibilities will include:

- Dispatching goods in an accurate and timely manner
- Perform pick and pack operations within a cool rooM/Freezer environment
- Efficiently manage incoming stock and distribution
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address stock availability concerns
- Assist in maintaining organised stock inventory
- Conduct deliveries of stock and orders
- Contribute to plating and packaging of food items

Key Requirements:

- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably within a food-related industry
- High attention to detail
- Familiarity with pick and pack processes ideally within cool rooM/Freezer conditions
- Strong customer focus with excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Exceptional time management skills and resilience in fast-paced settings

A valid Driver's License is essential
