Job Title: Storeperson

We are seeking an organised individual to fill a casual Storeperson role at Newcastle Mater Hospital.

The ideal candidate will possess high levels of organisational skills, a strong attention to detail and be able to work autonomously with a 'Can-Do' attitude.

Responsibilities include:

  • Receiving and storing food deliveries
  • Working closely with the ordering team and kitchen staff
  • Maintaining food safety practices and company policies

Requirements:

  • Experience in safe food handling is required
  • Food safety knowledge is desirable
  • High level organisational skills are essential
  • 'Can-Do' attitude is necessary
  • A willingness to obtain National Police Clearance and Serology Screening is required

This role offers a unique opportunity for someone who is well-organised and can work independently. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills and be able to prioritise tasks effectively.

The successful applicant will have the ability to maintain accurate records, handle cash transactions and provide exceptional customer service.
