Costa's Citrus operations in the heart of the Riverland, South Australia, are seeking a **Harvest Supervisor** to oversee the day-to-day coordination of harvest workers across one of our farms, located 5 minutes out of Loxton, SA. This hands-on leadership role plays a key part in ensuring high standards of productivity, safety, and fruit quality during our citrus harvest.

**What You'll Do**:
Reporting to the Farm Manager, you will lead and support both direct hire and contractor teams to achieve daily harvest targets and quality standards. You will provide clear direction, training, and supervision to your crews while promoting a strong safety and performance culture across the team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and coordinate harvest crews to meet daily productivity and quality targets.
- Provide hands-on supervision, training, and support to workers and crew leaders.
- Conduct pre-harvest checks and ensure compliance with harvest specifications and safe work instructions.
- Organise transportation of fruit to packhouses, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
- Maintain harvest equipment and conduct in-field safety and quality checks.
- Deliver daily pre-starts, toolboxes and assist with inductions.
- Collaborate with internal teams including farm operations, quality control, harvest admin, and transport.
- Support the setting and review of piece rates and assist in workforce performance monitoring.
- Respond to incidents, hazards, or near misses, and contribute to safety reviews and corrective actions

**What You'll Bring**:

- A valid Australian Drivers License
- Certificate in Horticulture (desirable but not essential).
- Practical knowledge of citrus harvest techniques (picking, thinning, pruning) is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience supervising or coordinating workers in a farm, harvest, or outdoor operations setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a multicultural workforce, supervisors, and stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions.
- A commitment to safety and compliance with workplace policies.
- Current licenses for mobile equipment, included forklifts (desirable).
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency.
