**About the role
Provide clinical care to patients through the utilisation of computerised systems to record safe meal orders, optimise nutrition and compliance with therapeutic diet orders, monitor nutritional intake and provide appropriate intervention and education.
About you
Liaise with patients, dietitians, nursing staff, medical staff and allied health staff regarding dietary requirements, selection, and delivery and monitoring of meals and supplements.
Identifying patients at risk or with malnutrition through the use of nutrition screening tools and the provision of appropriate interventions including high protein energy snacks and supplements, food charts, and referral to a dietitian.
Perform delegated clinical duties and document the provision of clinical care in the medical chart and bedside chart are per local guidelines.
Compliance with departmental, Facility and Metro North policies and procedures including workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and antidiscrimination.
