Our advanced neuromodulation systems for the next generation of implantable stimulation devices are distinguished by Dose-Control Technology via measurement of physiological response.What We're Looking For...Reporting to the Head of Software Systems, the primary role of this position is to participate in the specification, design, implementation and testing of firmware components for use in Saluda Medical products and testing utilities.This role would suit someone familiar with working in a Medical Device or similar industry with strong quality controls and documentation requirements.Your role will include:Testing of application and embedded system softwareDeveloping test requirements and verification protocolsUI specification, prototyping, development & business logic implementationContributing to and participating in requirements and design review meetingsPreparation and review of system documentationDeveloping test requirements and verification protocolsProducing design-related documentation to meet medical device requirementsAbout you:Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering or Computer ScienceMinimum of 4 years' experience in the specification, design, development and testing of firmware (bare metal)Expert in CMinimum 2 years' experience with C#, Python or similar languages for PC application development and scriptingExperience with and commitment to software development in a QA controlled environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills.A team player and ability to work as a self-managed professional.It's not essential, but nice if you have:Experience in working in an agile software development environmentExperience in software architecture development and software designExperience in medical device design and developmentWorking knowledge of regulatory requirements (IEC 62304, ISO 13485)Experience in the neuromodulation industryAt Saluda, we challenge boundaries.
