
Associate Producer

Assist in developing and delivering high quality events, that support State Library programming and activation objectives.
- Build and maintain effective relationships, collaborating effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the consistent delivery of production services within scheduled time frames.
- Support the preparation of venue and technical documentation for event set up teams and audio-visual operators including schedules, run sheets, catering and entertainment riders.
- Attend programmed events and contribute as an active event day team member in both front of house and backstage roles when required.
- Contribute to a positive and safe work environment by modelling conduct that is culturally capable, inclusive, respectful, and ethical.

This role is an identified role under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
As Associate Producer, Creative Production, it is the responsibility of both Indigenous and non-Indigenous staff to identify suitable opportunities in production planning and event delivery to embed First Nations perspectives and protocols.
This role has been designated Indigenous Identified to increase the diversity of our team, bringing diverse perspectives and has no additional defined cultural requirements.
We acknowledge that embedding First Nations perspectives as a First Nations person presents a different task and are committed to working with appointed Indigenous Identified staff members to listen to their feedback, support them and make adjustments as needed.
First Nations staff will be supported to connect with First Nations colleagues through both formal and informal networks and events.
