Principal Power Systems Engineer
to join our multidisciplinary team.
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced engineer to lead the delivery of cutting-edge power systems projects that support the renewable and traditional energy sector.
Conduct thorough power system studies for various energy-related projects, including those focused on renewable energy, traditional energy, and industrial power systems.
Develop creative solutions to complex power systems and network connection challenges.
Bring your technical expertise to drive successful project outcomes.
Oversee project management tasks, ensuring timely completion while adhering to internal and external standards, industry regulations.
Identify opportunities for growth and expansion in ongoing and future projects.
You will collaborate closely with developers, investors, NSPs, and AEMO to deliver projects that facilitate a transition to sustainable energy.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have:
A bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering (or equivalent).
Strong project management skills, enabling you to oversee multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with an organized and adaptable approach.
Proficiency in data management, reporting, and aptitude for power systems modeling tools (e.g., PSS/E, PowerFactory, PSCAD).
Experience managing technical quality, timelines, and budget for large-scale projects.
