**About the role**:
Based in our Adelaide office this role reports to the Branch Manager, conducts standard customer service & sales-based administrative tasks, liaises with stakeholders to ensure client requirements are met and undertakes tasks assigned by the Branch Manager.
**What you will doing**:
- Customer Service
- Update Customer details
- Client rates (origin/freight/destination)
- Contact details (delivery address/billing/address/p.i.c)
- Client profiles
- Reporting requirements
- Order follow-ups and maintain Order reports for Customers
- Service and develop existing accounts
- Liaise with Management on customer service matters daily
- Update Customers on international supply chain processes (pre-alerts, arrival dates, off loads & delivery schedule)
- Handle customer rate queries & shipment queries
- Sales Administration
- Process client SOP's at the direction of Management
- Quote customers and overseas offices at a profitable level
- Liaise with overseas offices to obtain the best possible rates and services
- Liaise with operational and warehouse staff to ensure client requirements are met
- Report any issues raised by customers, overseas offices & agents to relevant stakeholders
- Undertake ad hoc assigns and other client-based tasks as specified by the Branch Manager
Essential:
- At least two years of experience in Customer Service or related role
- Proficient knowledge of all freight forwarding facets
Desirable:
- Conflict resolution and diplomacy know-how
- Ability to develop existing business
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to think laterally and find quick & effective solutions to problems
