The Opportunity
As a BDA Aircraft Aerospace Worker you will be responsible for but not limited to basic Aircraft service requirements including undertaking Aircraft Wash and Lubrication Tasks, trades assistant tasking activities in support of Product Support & Maintenance (PS&M), Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO) services - Amberley. This includes support for Aircraft and Aircraft Component maintenance activities.
We are now recruiting for Aircraft Aerospace Worker positions based at Amberley.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide assistance to and take directions from BDA Technicians and staff in the execution of team goals.
- Ensuring all maintenance tasks carried out are IAW the applicable Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and certified in the maintenance documentation.
Experience/Qualifications
- Be physically fit and have the ability to take part in Aircraft Washing activities.
- Be able to demonstrate an understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) procedures.
- Hold or be able to obtain a Defence Security Clearance of Negative Vetting 1
- Meet the security requirements of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITARS)
- Be able to work in confined spaces and at heights
- Be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety procedures
- Hold a C class driver's license
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience within an Aircraft maintenance environment
- Hold a High Risk Work License for EWP and fork lift
- Experience in hazardous waste management
- Hold a medium ridged license
- Come from a trade qualified background
