Cardiac Technologist (Grade 1/2)role atNSW Health.
Employment Type: Temporary Part Time (24 hours per week) up to May 2026.
Location: Concord Repatriation General Hospital.

Remuneration: $37.03 - $56.69 per hour + Annual Leave + 11.5% Superannuation.

Responsibilities
Perform electrocardiograms as required; interpret results and advise physicians of any observed abnormalities in addition to assuming full responsibility for accurate recording and analysis of ECG and hemodynamic measurements during and after cardiac catheterisation.
Support cardiac device implants; perform electrophysiological studies; perform interrogation of implanted cardiac devices (pacemakers, defibrillators, loop recorders), interpret results and advise physicians of any observed abnormalities in both in-person and remote monitoring settings.
Ideal Candidate
Bachelor of Science or equivalent, and post-graduate qualification in electrophysiology or CIED or competencies deemed equivalent by the employer.
Demonstrated ability to instantly recognise and document abnormal ECG and pressure waveforms.
Knowledge of advanced life support.
Applicants will need to have the ability to work on a 24/7 rotating on-call roster.
