Gold Coast Private Hospital is looking to employ an Environmental Services Manager to join our established team on a full-time basis.
You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and an interest to achieve high standards of customer satisfaction.As a Housekeeping & Environmental Services Manager, your responsibilities will include:You will be responsible for the management of the Environmental Services staff who undertake the cleaning across the facilityCommunicate and deal with contractors for managing waste and cleaningUndertake cleaner ordersOperate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & proceduresProvide high standard of cleaning servicesDeliver excellent customer service to patients, clients and staffAbout usEstablished in 2016, Gold Coast Private Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 339-bed facility located in the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct in Southport.With 22 operating theatres, Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including, but not limited to, 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology.Gold Coast Private Hospital is committed to continual growth, providing exciting opportunities and professional career pathways in healthcare.Essential Criteria:Flexibility to work across different hours as requiredPrevious experience as a supervisor or manager in a hospital, hotel services, or shopping centre3-5 years of experience in a similar role.Knowledge of managing a 24/7 roster using electric time and attendance systems (eg Kronos)Well-developed communication and interpersonal skillsSkills and motivation to ensure excellence in customer serviceThe ability to complete tasks within a measurable timeframeThe ability to work in a diverse physically challenging position/workloadCertification 3 or 4 in cleaning operations is desirableWhy Healthscope?
