**The Opportunity**:
Newcastle Anglican are looking for a seasoned Payroll Officer to join the team. You will be responsible for the provision of quality and consistent payroll/administrative activities and support to Newcastle Anglican, Employees and other related parties.
This is a Permanent Full Time vacancy.

What are we looking for?
Develop, implement, and maintain effective and efficient systems, procedures, and processes to support the delivery of high quality and timely payroll support and customer service
Accurately maintain personnel records
Provide advice to staff in a timely manner on payroll information
Provide accurate payroll reports
Assist in the preparation and processing of the fortnightly pay run, including checking timesheets, within required time deadlines
Prepare, process, and report on workers compensation claims, including reviewing and reconciling of reimbursement schedules
Ensure a consistent standard of quality service that both meets, and anticipates, the needs of internal and external stakeholders
About you?
High proficiency in payroll data entry, including experience working in a high transaction volume environment
Demonstrated competence with payroll systems and processes relevant to payroll
Demonstrated experience in providing proactive customer service
Demonstrated time management skills and an ability to prioritise tasks
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a range of different stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment
Demonstrated ability of attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrated ability to carry out duties in a timely and efficient manner with the capacity to be self-reliant and exercise initiative with minimum supervision
Experience with multiple awards and enterprise agreements
