Crows Nest Full Time Nanny

A professional and loving family in Crows Nest, Sydney are seeking an energetic and experienced nanny to care for their two children (Aged 2yrs and 4 months).
**The days and normal hours are: 5 days - 50 hours per week**
Monday to Friday 8.00am - 6.00 pm
Additional adhoc hours at the weekend occasionally if the nanny is available.
**Note: Full Drivers Licence and own vehicle preferred (although not essential)**
An ideal nanny would have a positive and friendly outlook, is gentle, calm and nurturing. Someone who is energetic (able to keep up with an active toddler), patient and has a genuine passion and love for children.
A nanny that is reliable, flexible, responsible and trustworthy. Communicates and manages expectations well and is responsive. Additionally you will be attentive, proactive and an easy going person. Enjoys engaging and having fun with the children, spending time indoors and outdoors and providing stimulating and creative playful activities which will support the children's learning milestones and development.
Prior professional experience with babies and toddlers and working with multiple
children of similar age at once is highly advantageous for this role.
The family are looking for a nanny who can build a lovely bond with their family and
support the day to day running of the household.
The nanny must be comfortable with at least 1 parent at home.
**The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**
To care for the children
Follow the children's routines
Play and engage age appropriate creative activities to assist in the children's
development
Take the children out to activities such as swimming, play activities etc.
Prep meals and cook for the children
Light household duties ie Clean and tidy after activities with children, and any
meal preparation. Occasionally unpack the dishwasher.
Assist with meal prep for the family on occasion
Grocery shopping occasionally
**The family's expectations from their nanny are -**
5+ years experience as a Nanny or working in childcare
Have a current Working with Children's Check
Current First Aid
Display strong communication skills
Physically healthy and active
Non smoker
Can prep and cook healthy food plus show food safety
Able to swim
Full drivers licence and clean driving record plus own car preferred
