**About this role**
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Civil Engineer/Water Strategist to join our Water team, based in Melbourne. Supported by Senior Water Engineers and Specialists you will be working on a range of water infrastructure projects to deliver quality outcomes. You will be an engineer with experience delivering engineering services in the water industry.

**What will I do?**
- You will be required to work with mínimal supervision in your area of responsibility, and you may be accountable for defined parts of design projects.
- You will assist the team in delivering designs for projects, delivering strategic advice, developing business cases and provide technical engineering design input throughout the project lifecycle. You will form strong relationships within project teams and with clients and stakeholders alike.
- Drawing on your technical skills you will recognise, adopt and promote best practice principles in your own work and throughout the wider team.
- In establishing and maintaining positive client and wider network relationships you will contribute to the growth and development of projects and advisory services undertaken by the group.

**What will I bring?**
- Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or water industry related area
- Relevant industry experience within the water infrastructure sector and/or a similar consultancy environment preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish effective internal and external stakeholder relationship - seen as a credible advisor and specialist within your sphere of work.
- Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
- Working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines, OH&S requirements.
