**The Opportunity**
This role will manage and monitor individual projects within the Orchard Hills biodiversity restoration program. The Orchard Hills program is a large (998 hectare) Cumberland Plain Woodland restoration program, with current activities including bush regeneration, habitat augmentation, soil remediation, revegetation and fauna reintroduction. You will be working in a collaborative team of expert science practitioners to make a real difference on the ground. You will be mentored by knowledgeable and skilled senior staff to build you skills and experience and your ability to contribute to our productive and respectful workplace culture.
**Key duties will include**:
- Developing projects to enhance the biodiversity of the project site by engagement with contractors, agencies, and relevant organisations Project-managing the delivery of these projects on-ground, and collecting/collating data on project outcomes for reporting purposes
- Collaborating with the team to integrate with and support the other Orchard Hills projects
**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will have;
- A degree in environmental, natural resource management, agricultural, biosecurity and emergency management and/or equivalent level of industry knowledge and experience
- An understanding of, and experience in, environmental management in the Greater Sydney region
- An understanding of, and experience in, the use of Geographic Information Systems and field mapping, spreadsheets and databases
**Essential requirements**
- Current NSW Driver Licence and the ability and willingness to travel
