An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Quality & Risk Manager to enhance the safety and quality of clinical care processes at a private hospital in Sydney.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As the Quality & Risk Manager, you will work with the Director of Clinical Services to support Patient Safety operations and ensure all department activities are in compliance with the ACHS EQuIP (Evaluation & Quality Improvement Program) and National standards. You will also oversee all hospital policies and procedures.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing;
- Tertiary Qualification in Management or working towards;
- Post Grad qualification is desirable;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills (oral and written);
- Knowledge of current patient safety and quality improvement methodologies and ability to teach or implement quality improvement tools and techniques;
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.

**ABOUT THE FACILITY**

Hospital, located in North Sydney, is a modern private facility with 11 operating rooms, an endoscopy procedure room and 2 cardiac catheterisation laboratories. Major clinical services include obstetrics, gynaecology, orthopaedics, rehabilitation and comprehensive cancer and critical care services.
