Road Trains of Australia (RTA) prides itself in having over a decade of experience in safe & dependable transportation of livestock, petroleum and bulk commodities throughout the north of Western Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland in their fleet of prime movers.

RTA are currently seeking a fully qualified Heavy Duty Mechanical Fitter to join the business on a full-time basis.

As a Heavy-Duty Mechanical Fitter, you will maintain our equipment to ensure it is roadworthy and your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Repairs and Service of Heavy Duty Road trucks
- Repairs and Servicing checks.
- Recording of work completed
- Safe operation, daily pre-start checks.
- Compliance to legislation, regulation and Company's policies & procedures
- Trade qualifications
- A valid HR/MC license (desirable but not essential)
- Willingness to undertake and clear a full Medical & drug & alcohol fitness assessment
- Provide Rights to work in Australia
- Great attention to detail, taking pride in your work
- National Police Clearance

Pay: $38.00 - $50.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Heavy Duty Diesel mechanic: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- MC Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
