Heavy Duty Mechanic Opportunity

This role offers a unique chance to transition from the FIFO lifestyle while maintaining high wages.
As a Heavy Duty Fitter, you will work in our workshop, interacting with drill rigs, equipment, vehicles, and maintenance staff. You will collaborate closely with our Maintenance Manager to organize and monitor maintenance schedules.
The primary duties of this position include:
- Carrying out preventative maintenance on plant and associated equipment
- Planning, scheduling, and organizing your own work within the requirements of the work plan
- Coordinating with other parties and suppliers as needed
- Prioritizing work plans and maintenance schedules
- Ensuring all assigned tasks are completed safely in accordance with quality requirements, company policies, and statutory regulations
To be considered for this role, you must possess a Heavy Duty Mechanical Qualification or equivalent, have a comprehensive understanding of hydraulic motors, systems, and schematics, and a solid grasp of electrical and pneumatic systems. Additionally, you must hold a current HR driver's license and be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screening.
