We have opportunities across the Campaspe Shire region.Position detailsAs a KIS Assistant your role will support the Kindergarten's teaching staff to provide an environment that is responsive to the individual strengths, abilities, and interests of all children, including those with a disability, additional support needs and/or complex medical needs.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children within the community and having the flexibility of working casual hours.Are you ready to make a difference?

ResponsibilitiesSupport the Kindergarten's teaching staff to provide an environment that is responsive to the individual strengths, abilities, and interests of all children, including those with a disability, additional support needs and/or complex medical needs.Develop relationships with children that are supportive and responsive to their individual needs.Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Understand the need to maintain confidentiality and privacy.Relate to others with kindness, respect, and positivity.QualificationsDemonstrated experience working with preschool children and/or in a preschool setting would be an advantage.RequirementsKIS assistants require a satisfactory pre-employment police check and current Working With Children Check.
If you have lived or worked for a continuous period of 12 months or more in another country within the last 10 years, a certified International Police Check from that country or countries will also be required.BenefitsThis is a casual position.The hourly wage is approximately $28.80 per hour plus 25% casual loading.Well established organisation and program.Access to free and confidential counselling through our Employee Assistance Program.Access to CommBank workplace banking, UP Community fuel discount, and more
