The Kindergarten Inclusion Support Program Overview

An initiative creating inclusive environments for all children, including those with disabilities, developmental delays, or complex medical needs.

This program places Additional Assistants in various local government areas, partnering with both Uniting and non-Uniting Kindergartens.

Your Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively as part of the service team delivering the kindergarten program.
  • Assist with play-based learning activities and daily care routines.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment.

This role involves lifting, carrying, and moving children and objects, as well as working at lower levels, such as on the floor or using small furniture.

Your Requirements
  • Effective communication skills and teamwork.
  • Experience working with children in any capacity.
  • Basic computer skills to navigate our systems and access resources.
