- Monday to Friday - Day shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
- $36p/h + Super - negotiable upon experience.

Are you an experienced fitter looking for your next challenge? Based in Strathalbyn, South Australia, our client is a national market leader and premium supplier of quality flour-based products. They seek an experienced mechanical fitter who will be pivotal in providing preventative and corrective maintenance services.

**The role**:
In this autonomous role, you will work on a range of plant equipment and machinery to ensure site and facilities are engineered, maintained, and repaired to the appropriate standard.
- Duties may include but are not limited to:_
- Preventative repair and maintenance of plant and equipment.
- Respond to emergency or breakdown maintenance.
- Perform basic fabrication tasks using Stick, MIG or TIG welding methods.
- Fabricate and assemble parts or products.
- Contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
- Liaise with vendors, staff and management regarding purchases and project status as required.

**About you**:

- Trade qualification as a fitter and/ or machinist is essential.
- Experience with industrial and food processing equipment is desirable but not essential.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Fantastic problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and work under pressure.

**Please note**:On occasion, flexibility is required to do after-hours work. A pre-employment medical, including an instant drug and alcohol, is a requirement of the role.
