**We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join us at Sydney Metro Laboratory at Granville.**

The successful applicant will have impeccable customer focus and be highly motivated and enthusiastic, be risk aware and safety driven. This is a permanent full-time opportunity with the requirement of some weekend work also entailing RDO's and overtime.

**Rates - $30.84 - $35.00 p.h. + O/T rates + super**

**In your new role with us, you will**:

- Perform laboratory testing within the laboratory for concrete being supplied throughout Sydney and the greater region
- Carry out equipment calibrations
- Perform laboratory testing operations
- Ensure NATA requirements are maintained
- Assist the technical team

**This role is a great fit for you if you**:

- Have completed a Certificate IV Laboratory Techniques or higher
- Have 2+ years' experience working in a construction materials laboratory
- Have a great attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn
- Are tenacious and take ownership and manage your responsibilities
- Are customer focused, attentive to detail and motivated to achieve goals
- Have qualifications in Testing Operations and/or Laboratory Techniques - preferred, but not essential
- Excellent Health and Safety behaviours
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills (written & verbal)
- Physically fit
