**Client Profile**
Our client manages highly successful student accommodation properties in Melbourne that all have unique accommodation spaces and large communal areas. At the apex of the market, they an established operator of one of the most impressive and popular PBSA groups.
This role is responsible for a large single property in the heart of Melbourne. The General Manager has full operational and commercial responsibility for a first class 24/7 facility. This is a hands-on role which manages multiple teams including Student Life, Maintenance, Administration, Customer Service and Sales.
- Experience with the day to day management of a large scale hotel or accommodation property
- Background in policy and procedure development and implementation
- Proven leadership in training and mentoring staff
- A culture champion who promotes a safe and positive community
- Extensive and broad experience HR and facilities management
- A degree and or relevant experience in a related discipline
- An appreciation and experience in engaging diverse cultures
- Exceptional customer and student service skills
- Ability to plan, time manage and implement activities and be flexible to working outside of normal business hours
- A current valid Working with Children Check
