**Role Summary**:
The HSE Lead Operations role is a newly created opportunity in our Health, Safety and Environment Operations Team based at our gas generation sites.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Participate in the development and execution of TG HSE strategies.
- Monitor compliance of HSE operations work to the appropriate HSE standards, systems, and processes.
- Conduct regular analysis of HSE data to proactively identify trends and recommend mitigating actions. This includes document governance.
- Provide reports on HSE relating to TG and Perth operations work activities against the HSE business plan.
- Contribute to annual greenhouse emission and energy consumption reporting for Synergy facilities to meet NGER Act requirements.

**What you'll bring**:

- A tertiary qualification in health and safety (or science related discipline).
- Root cause analysis incident investigation.
- Previous experience in a relevant industry guiding, developing, and influencing health and safety teams.
- Demonstrated knowledge of key concepts, theories and practices related to the effective management of health and safety related risks.
- Facilitation of hazard identification and risk assessment processes such as team-based risk assessments and hazard and operability studies (HAZOP).
