**Retail Assistant**

We are seeking a customer focused sales assistant with a willingness to learn, or a welding tradesperson looking for a career change to join the team based in our Ballarat store.
**What you will enjoy doing**
- You will interact with customers daily to provide solutions to their welding, fabrication and gas related challenges
- Willing to learn and understand modern welding processes
- Handling phone and counter sales, processing customer orders, responding to requests for information and pricing
- Your role includes development and up-keep of in-store displays, and promotional material
- You will be responsible for the stock management and the dispatching and receiving of goods
**What makes you great**
- You have a trade background or experience in customer service and a retail sales environment
- In addition, you possess strong verbal and written communication skills and can work with mínimal supervision and as part of a team
- You are reliable, dependable and willing to grow your knowledge of the welding process
- You have excellent time management skills
- Having a forklift license or willingness to acquire one is essential
