Your Opportunity
**As the Creative Strategist, you will be responsible for**:
- Work closely with the Campaign Manager to plan and produce campaign creative including digital content such as video and digital advertising.
- Provide high level creative strategy for digital marketing channels including the website ensuring a consistent, unified and inspiring user experience.
- Work alongside members as well as regional marketing colleagues to investigate creative approaches to a range of briefs in line with the overarching marketing strategy objectives.
- Act as custodian of the TAFE Queensland brand and visual style guidelines to ensure statewide compliance. In addition, you will drive creative direction for key creative briefs, by harnessing the collective abilities of a diverse group of interdisciplinary professionals, ensuring that solutions meet business needs and showcase TAFE Queensland Brisbane as the brand that provides practical training to do extraordinary things.
This position reports to the Campaign Manager.
This is a Temporary, Full-Time opportunity, to 11 April 2025 unless otherwise determined.
The position will be based primarily at South Bank Campus, however can be negotiated.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to TAFE Queensland's network of graphic and digital designers, act as Brand Guidelines custodian working in partnership with regional colleagues to ensure consistency, efficiency and best practice design.
- Work with diverse stakeholders across the business to influence user-centred design in all customer facing systems to deliver exceptional user experiences to deliver on our brand promise.
- Work on demand generation and brand campaigns to assist the Campaign Manager with the overall creative strategy to produce and procure digital content including video, interactive apps and other engagement tools, that align with creative direction and brand values as required.
- Contribute to an annual asset development strategy focusing on brand engagement, and student attraction, retention and re-engagement across campaign and non-campaign.
- In line with campaign strategy, develop and deliver offline and digital creative assets.
- In line with the content strategy, develop and deliver an annual program of digital creative, including creation of digital assets for website, social and automated marketing activity.
- Manage the agency relationship between TAFE Queensland appointed creative agency and the business.
- Manage and acts as the lead creative on adhoc creative projects including in-house photoshoots.
- Work with Campaign Manager on finding creative efficiencies and maximising creative in market, including a/b testing strategies with the aim to generate greater SOV and lead outcomes.
- You will act as custodian of the TAFE Queensland brand and visual style guidelines to ensure statewide compliance. In addition, you will work closely with the Campaign Manager and digital team to plan and produce digital content including but not limited to video, digital display advertising, custom animations etc.
- Maintain an understanding of the commercial aspects of TAFE including financial and business performance and any impact from external factors.
- Actively engage with industry, business and the design community to ensure TAFE Queensland practise remains responsive and contemporary.
- Undertake other tasks and projects at the direction of the Director Brand and Communication.
- Contribute to the success of transformation and cultural change through promoting and modelling the established values of Commerciality, Teamwork, Innovation and Accountability.
