Reporting to Student Adviser Team Lead, this role is responsible for providing information and resolving issues in relation to student fees and general enquiries.About the roleThe Student Finance Adviser plays a key role in the provision of outstanding service through phone, email and face-to-face interactions with stakeholders; ensuring all students are supported with accurate advice and information relevant to all transactions related to studying at UTS College.Key responsibilities of the role are:Accurate and timely management of finance functions related to student feesEnsuring advice and information is appropriately delivered and of an exceptionally high standardLiaising with other UTS College departments regarding student enrolment, leave, transfers and refunds, as appropriateBeing proactive in proposing changes to processes to improve efficiency and student satisfactionFollowing appropriate guidelines and measures for complaints handling, with regular feedback and reporting mechanismsEnsuring the integrity of student recordsAbout youYou will have:An undergraduate degree in a relevant disciplineStudent/customer service experience and capability to build positive and effective stakeholder relationshipsAdvanced computer literacy and experience working with a range of systems and applicationsDemonstrated good organisational and time management skills, accuracy, and attention to detailAble to work with minimal supervision according to strict deadlines.A valid Working with Children CheckWhat UTS College has to offerConveniently located inner-city campus within walking distance to Central Station.A diverse workplace with a passion for encouraging and supporting inclusiveness.Wellbeing programs including discounted gym memberships, free and confidential access to an Employee Assistance Program, wellbeing initiatives and resources.Continuous learning and professional development (including ongoing learning & development opportunities, free LinkedIn Learning access and the UTS Library)An easy-to-use Staff Recognition ProgramAdditional paid leave over the December end of year holidaysA competitive salary that includes 17.5% leave loading paid annuallyA collaborative culture built on our Ethics of Respect, Integrity, Courage, Imagination, Compassion and HonestyIf this sounds like you, we'd like to hear from you
